Fluid Model Validation
The last feature among the Virtual PVT lab tabs is the Fluid Model Validation. This tool allows us to validate the sample correlation to our fluid model. Additionally, we can do compositional adjustment, and store the new compositions as 'adjusted compositions'.
Workflow
Upon entering the fluid model validation page, we see that the following inputs are available.
The only required input is to select which samples we would like to do the validation for. Once selected and saved, the compositional adjustment option becomes available for the corresponding samples selected.
For the certificate workflow, try to:
- Select all your samples
- Utilize the compositional tuning by ticking off the Recombination GOR box and/or MW for your samples
- Run the calculation
- Store the adjusted results using the top right button named 'Store Adjusted Composition'
Results
After having ran the calculation, the following graph will appear.
We see that we could also view the same information that appears during the tuning process of the fluid model development. We can also note that we have several data points despite only having two samples for the saturation pressure here. This is because there has been several CCE experiments ran.
Next Step
With our new adjusted compositions stored, we could go ahead and get our Virtual PVT Lab Certificate!
